Components

The complete MadPLL instrument package consists of:

• your optical microscope

• our XY-axis NanoStage, for scanning the sample

• our Z-axis NanoStage, for controlling the probe distance

• a tuning fork or Akiyama probe

• our probe board

• our sensor amplifier board

• our Proportional Integral (PI) digital control loop

• our Phase Lock Loop (PLL) digital controller

• your PC (32-bit or 64-bit WinXP/Vista/7)

Options & upgrades can include:

• our vacuum-compatible positioners

• coarse (mm-scale) XY-axis positioning (motorized or manual)

• coarse (mm-scale) Z-axis positioning (motorized or manual)

• AFMView software

• tuning forks
